Hello Beautiful People,
As I go scan the photos, editing and posting these blogs I just realize how truly blessed I am to have experienced NYFW the way that I did. From 2010 to 2011 I set a goal that I must be apart of the festivities that take place, but also surround myself with people who would allow me to be apart of the very industry that so many make up artists and fashion enthusiasts thrive in. I must say so far so good but I have a ways to go in my journey, just happy that I've networked and met some great friends to go a long for the ride.
Cocktails and Couture brainchild of the fabulous Lianne Farbes aka The Makeup Girl, brought together all the different components that make people beautiful on film and on paper. Beauty editors, stylists, bloggers, make up artists, public relations, hairstylists and so much more in one room which was fabulously decorated might I add at BoConcept in Chelsea, Manhattan. Sponsors and vendors included, CND, FRS Healthy Energy, Lierac, Philippe Matignon, Indique Hair, Specific Beauty skincare line, and Immunicologie. Oh and how can I forgot the cocktails that I had only one of because it was so potent that was sponsored by X-rated Fusion Liqueur which made a fabulous signature drink called Couture Candy. So fab and so couture was everyone. The vibe was amazing the appetizers were scrumptious and the gift bag great.
