Miss Merli Goes Behind the Scenes of Vivere Lookbook Shoot

Fashionistas, designers, and clothing lovers alike, how many times have you wondered what work has gone on to create some of the most amazing campaigns that we love? Of course you ask who is the stylist, is the designer involved in the process, and what about that beautiful model how does she work. Well Miss Merli In NYC got an exclusive invitation from Vivere to do just that, meet the designer, model, photographer, and stylist.  I also had the opportunity to also style the model and be a model who knew?! Check out the pics for yourself. Things That Make Me Go Ooh La La: June 18-23 2012

Feeling Hot Hot Hot! Yes ya'll it was a steaming hot week literally. Officially NYC had a heat wave and surely the summer fashionistas came out in full force. Summer is my favorite season because I really get to flex my fashion muscles with lovely footwear, accessories, and beautiful dresses. I'm such a girly girl! This week I was able to attend the HBA EXPO 2012 at Jacob Javits Center so look out for a recap on The Style and Beauty Doctor, I will also feature some of the up and coming exhibitors that I met here on miss merli in nyc as well as post photos on my Facebook page. I also attended Karen of Karen's Body Beautiful and Myliek of Curlbox meet and greet, where I got to meet up with Tia Williams of Shake That Beauty  As always you know how much I get photo happy when I'm out and about so sit back and enjoy what Merli saw in NYC this week.

FALL FASHION PREVIEW: Ann Taylor

Hello Beautiful People,

Summer has not even come and gone yet and we are already thinking about what is hot for the fall. I was happy to get to check out the Fall line for Ann Taylor that will be coming out in August of this year for Fall 2012. Think black & White, pops of color, and oh so much patterns that make Merli very happy. Old world glamour and young modern funk are how I would personally describe some of my fave pieces from the fall line. Also introduced to me for the first time is Ann Taylor's wedding pieces which were beautiful, fun and modern all at once. You'll be just as impressed as I was with the new line and it looks like I'll be picking up a few pieces (too many) soon.
