Hi Beautiful People,
So imagine being totally nervous to do a job not knowing what to expect, what look you're going to do, and what kind of personalities you're going to come up against. Well for me that was the case when I walked into Den of Thieves which starred the fabulous and amazing Erika Leigh of Shoes, Shirts & Other Sh!t Blog ( I always giggle after saying the title) I was only able to work one of three days as result of my recurring back issues but nevertheless gained a world of experience and a new found patience bone. One of my tasks to make a fresh faced guy look tired and give him a beard. WTH! Inside I was like ummm so I've never done it but I'm always one to fake it till I make it or at least act like it. Any who I breezed thru powdering the gentleman and only emphasizing the beauty which Erika has and the stripper character well she was another story but hey mama said if you don't have nothing nice to say, you shouldn't say anything at all... so I'm keeping mum. With the guy the easy part was creating sunken tired eyes which was a piece of cake I used MAC's embark but then came the beard. I started out attempting to use spiked but because of his hair color and complexion that didn't work well, so I thought to myself think about the last time you saw hair created and I thought back to Jen James Brow Beyond Powder workshop for the Powder Group. So I took my brow brush used MAC's Carbon and Print to Shop in tandem to create hair. I could her in my ear precision and symmetry and by golly George I was quite impressed and shocked that I had applied what I learned for brows to create a beard. I took some video and pictures for you guys to see.
