Featured Fashion Diva of the Day: Chantal Harris

Hello Beautiful People,

Everyday I am influenced and inspired by everyday divas who work hard and definitely have fun with fashion and makeup so I want to share some of those ladies with you. My first featured Diva of the Day is my best friend who you've seen on my blog before she is my living black barbie  who I love to help dress up and apply makeup on. FALL FASHION PREVIEW: Ann Taylor

Hello Beautiful People,

Summer has not even come and gone yet and we are already thinking about what is hot for the fall. I was happy to get to check out the Fall line for Ann Taylor that will be coming out in August of this year for Fall 2012. Think black & White, pops of color, and oh so much patterns that make Merli very happy. Old world glamour and young modern funk are how I would personally describe some of my fave pieces from the fall line. Also introduced to me for the first time is Ann Taylor's wedding pieces which were beautiful, fun and modern all at once. You'll be just as impressed as I was with the new line and it looks like I'll be picking up a few pieces (too many) soon. 

     

Things That Make Me Go Ooh La La: March 19-24, 2012

Hey Beautiful People,

     What a week it was with my new job I was on a search for comfortable shoes and came across some that really made my tongue wag. My place of choice was the 34th Street DSW, as I had some certificates and my birthday coupon to utilize. Any reason to get something new is always fun for me *wink*. I also had the privilege as one of my responsibilities to pick out paint colors for the new program at Brooklyn Children's Center. I'm also searching for furniture, games, books and everything to make sure that the Youth Resource Center is everything that a young person can dream up. I'll probably put out an SOS for donations for books and xbox 360 games for the youth. This is going to be just the beginning this is what the youth need, I can't wait for it to be open.
