Things that Make Me Go Oh La La: May 7-11 2012

Hello Beautiful People,

       What a week it has been for me... I say that and it sounds as if I had the most exciting one ever but nope quite the contrary its been a constant test where it seemed as if I was failing. Food poisoning and struggles at work turned into a trip to the hospital because of course I wasn't taking care of myself and just breathing. Sometimes we take for granted that we aren't immortal and need to slow down but also ensure that all times that we are checking ourselves to ensure excellence and integrity in all that we do. Lesson learned. Welp I will not further bore you with my life lessons lets see what caught my eyes this week.

Beauty Review: Nail Fraud polish strips

Hi Beautiful People,

As the year 2011 comes to a close it brings me great happiness to share one more beauty review with you, certainly it won't be the last. My promise is to bring you bigger and better posts next year I can't wait and in advance and as always thank you for reading, subscribing and commenting your continued support is amazing. Now unto the review. Well... the video that I recorded speaks for itself, sadly Nail Fraud decals while cute doesn't have the staying power that I thought it would. I'm well aware that it is quite possible that I didn't do it right or there was a product malfunction but for now I'll have to give Nail Fraud a 0. The beautiful polish strips didn't last a whole 24 hours, I hadn't even washed a sink full of dishes nor had I used any substantial moisturizer. Maybe someone has a tip that I can use to make it last longer than a day... not sure but while I love shopping I hate wasting money. I will try the other decals and bring another review to you, I believe in second chances. Have you tried Nail Fraud? Let me know how long it lasted for you.

Nail Trends to Try

Hello Beautiful People!

Who loves nail polish? ME! Have you ever gone in to the nail salon to get your mani and pedi and have to deal with the daunting task of only picking two or even worse ONE color? I have and I hate it! I love color and so I was happy to see and hear that there is a trend that would allow me to use multiple colors without looking like a complete skittle bag. Ombre nails which borrows it's name from the process similar to hair dyeing or streaking. You choose varying shades of a color and either go from light to dark or dark to light (thumb to pinky). Do you know how excited I am about this? Below you'll find an example of me trying the trend, and then I got bored and shattered it to see how it would look.

Another nail trend that is always hot for the summer is neons yup there back again. This trend not for the faint heart because these colors pop! But it's so SUNNY!

One Last trend is mannequin hands and the whole concept behind this is you wear colors that almost blend into your own complexion and give you the illusion of longer fingers. Lord knows I need this trend to stay around.
